We'd rather fix a mistake than leave it up. If something on Dating Scam Detector is inaccurate, outdated, or misleading, here's how to flag it.

How to report an error

Email citylinks4u@gmail.com with the page URL, the specific claim or statistic you believe is wrong, and, if you have one, a source for the correct information. See our Contact page for general inquiries.

What happens next

We review the claim against the original source cited on the page (or research a new source if none was cited). If a correction is warranted, we update the page directly and refresh its "dateModified" date. For a factual error that materially changes a guide's conclusion, we add a brief visible note on the page describing what changed and when, rather than silently editing it.

Response time

We aim to review correction requests within 5 business days. Time-sensitive safety corrections (for example, an outdated reporting-authority link) are prioritized ahead of minor stylistic issues.

Scope

This policy covers factual and sourcing errors in our own guide content. It does not cover disputes about a specific person's real-world conduct — the free checker and guides describe patterns and categories of scam behavior, not accusations against named individuals, and we're not able to arbitrate individual disputes of that kind.
